Full time role: 9-5 Monday-Friday

My client is looking for someone with previous accounts experience. Either a previous bookkeeper or accounts assistant within practice and now looking to further their career.

The Role:

  • Preparation of bookkeeping records
  • Manage accounts for clients
  • Submit VAT and CIS returns
  • Prioritise schedule to meet tight deadlines
  • Driving to meet clients and sit in meetings
  • Juggle multiple accounts at one time
  • Meet new people/clients daily
  • Make outbound calls to clients


  • Professional qualification or qualified through experience
  • Proficiency of Sage Line 50 and Xero
  • Up to date knowledge of VAT and CIS legislations
  • Strong Excel and other Microsoft software knowledge
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Full driving licence and own car

This is an urgent requirement so candidates who are immediately available or on short notice periods would be preferable.

Salary: £18-25k (depending on experience)

Candidates who live in the Devizes, Calne, Melksham, Chippenham or Corsham areas would have ideal travel distances.
