I am working with a busy local Chartered Accountant firm based in Chippenham. The company is going through a restructure to help get the best out of its current employees and to bring on new talented accountants. This company has a great office culture and helps develop it’s staff.

Duties will include but by no means will be limited to:

  • Prepare accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
  • Corresponding tax computations and personal tax returns
  • Use Quickbooks and Iris software systems
  • Prepare VAT returns
  • Undertake general bookkeeping duties on behalf of clients

Required skills will include:

  • AAT Qualified or qualified through experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient level of Excel knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of Sage, Quickbooks and IRIS
  • Payroll and auto enrolment experience (not required but would be an advantage)
  • Looking for someone who has worked in a Chartered Accountancy before (Preferred) 

Role is based in Chippenham but can be accessed from Calne, Melksham, Corsham, Devizes and Swindon easily on a commute.

This role will be ideal for someone who has worked in a Chartered Accountancy in the past and in roles such as : Assistant Accountant, Accountant, Bookkeeper, Accounts Manager

Salary: £24,000-£30,000 depending on experience
